Bentonite Clay

We use Bentonite clay in our clarifying Shampoo bar, our charcoal facial bar, and our deodorants.

What is Bentonite clay?

Bentonite clay is formed from Volcanic ash.  It is rich in minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium.

When the clay mixes with water, a negative electric charge forms.  This helps remove impurities and toxins from your hair and skin.

There are many benefits of bentonite clay for Hair and  skin.

For Hair:

It is said that bentonite clay removes toxins and moisturizes hair.  Which is why we chose it for our clarifying shampoo.  Unlike other clarifying shampoos it is not drying to the hair.

It strips out oils, dirt and toxins from the hair and scalp but it is gentle as well.  It helps with dry scalp, frizzy hair, dry/damaged hair, and adds shine.  All of this while gently moisturizing your hair and scalp.

For skin:

Bentonite clay many wonderful uses for skin. This is why we have included it in our charcoal facial bar.

It unclogs the skin pores and shrinks them. Giving a good deep clean.  It helps control the overproduction of sebum which will help those with oily or combination skin.

It draws out the toxins from the skin, makes skin softer, and it gives a definite glow to your face.

Bentonite clay exfoliates, helps reduce the appearance of scars, and is safe for all skin types.

It can can be used to regenerate skin tissue and even out skin tone.

It Prevents and eases out blackheads, treats acne, soothes itchy and irritated skin.

It can also reduce puffiness, swelling and inflammation.

It can reduce dark spots, and firm and tighten mature skin
